Welder/Fabricator

 

We are currently hiring for the position of Welder/Fabricator.

 

Duties are to assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization. Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw gun, drill gun, and grinders.

Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools.

Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods.

Continually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times.

Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. May be required to work in the field at our job sites in a professional and safe manner.

 

Qualifications are at least 3+ years’ experience in fabricating and/or welding structures, stairs, handrails, tanks etc. Also working with stainless steel and aluminum. Must have basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions, ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems with high attention to detail.

 

Physical demands are ability to lift 50 pounds, regularly perform repetitive task. Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately. Ability to operate a fork-lift and an overhead crane. Overtime hours are required to meet the needs of our customers.

 

Layout/Fitter

We are currently hiring for the position of Layout/Fitter.

Duties are to assemble or fabricate parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities are to perform all work in accordance with AISC standards and established safety procedures. Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff. May be required to work in the field at our job sites in a professional and safe manner.

 

Qualifications are basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions, ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems with high attention to detail. Work in a team environment and respect all teammates.
